Quality Lead - 1st Shift

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJob Summary:To perform and improve the appraisal activities of the quality system to verify that materials, products and services conform to the specified quality requirements.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Following processes and ensure adherence to best production practices and customer quality standards.Inspection of raw, in-process (WIP) and finished goods inventory parts to determine if they meet customer specifications.Track all defects related to part quality, material, subcontract operations and packaging for analysis in Thrive.Verifying the consistency and reliability of product quality based on specified AQL levels, taking into account such factors as time, cost and quality control.Romer Arm/CMM programming for probing and scanning is a must have.Communicate with management and operators regarding quality problems or elevated risk of defectsEnter data regarding NMR or RMA issues keep and update respective lists for review.Assisting with training personnel to adhere to quality standards.Excellent blueprint reading abilityA understanding of GD&T, PPAP, 1st ArticleAnalytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to facilitate group problem solving activities. (root cause, corrective action, 5 why)Strong interpersonal skillsAptitude for providing information, perform training and develop other employees.Excellent verbal and written communication skills with all levels of the organization.Strong computer skills including proficiency in Excel, Word and Power Point.Qualification RequirementsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
