IS Technician - Helpdesk/ Helpdesk Support Technician

Job Responsibilities:
- Provide onsite technical support for POS systems, printers, scanners, PCs, and related hardware
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues at retail and pharmacy locations
- Install, configure, and maintain IT equipment across multiple sites
- Travel between client locations to perform scheduled and emergency service calls
- Ensure timely resolution of service tickets within SLA requirements
- Support high-severity incidents including after-hours and weekend coverage on rotation
- Maintain accurate documentation of service activities and repairs
- Deliver strong customer service and communicate effectively with store staff

- Willingness to travel extensively within assigned service area
- Experience supporting retail POS systems and peripherals
- Basic networking knowledge (routers, switches, connectivity issues)
- Experience supporting printers, scanners, and pharmacy/retail systems
- Familiarity with IT service management tools
- Ability to handle high-volume service environments
- Strong problem-solving and time management skill
Education/Experience:
- Trade school/college or equivalent experience — Required
- 1–3+ years of IT support or field service experience
- Experience repairing and upgrading computer systems and peripherals
