CMA Qualifications:
- High School Diploma GED required
- Graduate of Medical Assistant Program
- Certified as Medical Assistant
- 2 years of Medical Office experience, preferred
CMA Responsibilities:
- Accurately and timely complete patient registration
- Assist professional staff in provision of quality care
- Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of examination rooms
- Responsible for maintaining patient flow in and out of office
- Answer and direct phone calls appropriately
- Perform lab draws and follow up with patient as ordered by physician
- Create patient charts
- Responsible for ordering, maintaining, and stocking supplies in an orderly manner
