What you will enjoy doing:

• Maintain ongoing relationships with regional customers and sales staff by handling calls, correcting order issues, processing orders, and resolving product or service issues
• Process sales orders and changes, confirm shipment/delivery dates, and handle cancellations
• Provide specialty gas/supplies sales and support to customers, Customer Solutions Specialists, and the outside sales team
• Use business software systems to retrieve customer information, verify inventory levels, and process orders
• Verify customer credit status and complete paperwork for issuing credits or debits
• Provide quotes and assistance to sales force and management within set parameters
• Suggest additional or alternative products and services to meet customer needs, following pricing guidelines
• Build and maintain effective working relationships with all internal Linde customers, meeting call center performance metrics

What makes you great:

• High school diploma; college or equivalent experience preferred
• Minimum of 2 4 years of customer service or in-store sales experience
• Prior industry experience with knowledge of company products such as hardgoods, welding supplies, industrial gas, specialty gas, and medical gas is required
• Hands-on experience in Specialty Gas/Hydrocarbon industries is required
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft applications and Lotus Notes are essential for this role
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and be self-motivated, work flexible hours

Pay Range: $23.00 - $30 per hour, depending on experience.
