Background:
Carten-Fujikin Inc. manufactures valves and assemblies for the semiconductor processing market. Job assignment will be conducted in both a Cleanroom (gowned) environment as well as a regular shop floor area (Protective safety eyewear and footwear required on shop floor).
Job Description
The Quality Inspector will be inspecting various parts for overall condition and conformance to written specifications and dimensions in conformance with product drawings. He/She will routinely use micrometers, depth gages, calipers, indicators, thread gages and an optical comparator to determine part integrity.Requirements:
- Focused individual; able to do a repeatable job with precision and maintain concentration.
- Has experience and ability to use necessary measurement equipment to provide reliable results.
- Good written and verbal communication skills. Reads and understands English.
- Good mathematical skills.
- Is able to read and correctly interpret mechanical drawings.
- Has good attention to detail and good visual acuity.
Quality inspection experience preferred. Willing to train the right candidate. We are looking for responsible, career-oriented individuals with a teamwork mentality .
High school diploma required; College degree a plus.
Must be able to lift up to 25lbs
