Machine Learning Engineer/AI Engineer

Onshore Position for Internal Portal Platforms (IPP) Project

This is an onshore position where the candidate will work from any tech hub, three days a week. The role is part of the Internal Portal Platforms (IPP) project. The IPP utilizes an AI agent to facilitate consumer (developers) client onboarding to common capabilities, and enable capability producers to register their capabilities.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Python.
• Hands-on experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and prompt engineering.
• Expertise in Azure OpenAI SDKs, APIs, and deployment strategies.
• Knowledge of agentic systems and Model Context Protocol (MCP).
• Familiarity with cloud integration, REST APIs, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Prior work experience at the client or in the client's industry.

Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with enterprise AI applications and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).
• Understanding of vector databases and data pipelines.
• Knowledge of security and compliance in AI systems.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Attend agile team ceremony meetings.
• Refine user stories and design according to requirements.
• Develop, test, and deploy solutions.
