Role: SAP S/4HANA OTC Functional Consultant

Location: Remote Role Overview

We are looking for a senior SAP S/4HANA OTC consultant to provide functional ownership for the Order-to-Cash workstream in an AMS environment. The consultant should be hands-on, capable of independently resolving production issues, supporting business-critical activities, and working closely with business and technical teams. The role will also include knowledge transition, documentation and continuous improvement responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide L2/L3 functional support for end-to-end Order-to-Cash processes in SAP S/4HANA.
• Support sales order processing, delivery, picking/packing, PGI, billing, returns, credit/debit memo and related OTC processes.
• Analyze and resolve issues related to pricing, condition technique, partner determination, output, incompletion, availability and document flow.
• Support Customer/Business Partner master-data issues and related S/4HANA process changes.
• Troubleshoot integration issues across SD, FI, MM, EWM/TM and external interfaces as applicable.
• Own incidents, service requests, problem records and minor enhancements within agreed SLA and quality expectations.
• Perform root-cause analysis for recurring production issues and drive permanent corrective actions.
• Prepare functional specifications, test scenarios and validation evidence for technical changes.
• Support cutover, stabilization, hypercare and business-critical operational activities when required.
• Participate in structured knowledge transfer and maintain functional documentation, SOPs and support runbooks.
• Work directly with business users and cross-functional teams during US business hours.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA SD and end-to-end Order-to-Cash processes.
• Good configuration knowledge across sales, delivery, billing, pricing and integration with Finance.
• Working knowledge of S/4HANA Business Partner, FSCM Credit Management and Output Management.
• Experience in IDoc, interface, API and application-log troubleshooting.
• Strong production-support, incident management and problem-management experience in an SLA-driven environment.
• Ability to analyze complex business issues independently and coordinate resolution across functional and technical teams.
• Good communication skills and experience working with geographically distributed stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• Manufacturing or industrial business-process experience.
• Exposure to EWM, TM, EDI, tax or third-party order-management integrations.
• Experience with ServiceNow, SAP Solution Manager or SAP Cloud ALM.
• Previous experience in transition or takeover of SAP application support from an implementation or incumbent support team.
