Gastroenterologist Opportunity

Novant Health Surgical Institute is seeking a gastroenterologist to join their established team, Novant Health Gastroenterology Wilmington, located in the desirable coastal community of Wilmington, NC. The ideal candidate is board certified/board eligible and has a background and interest in providing full spectrum GI care. ERCP, EUS, advanced training a plus but not required. Primarily see patients in the office and procedures are outpatient; hospital call is minimal. The group consists of eight physicians, with one physician providing GI hospitalist care each week, and 10 APPs; affiliated with Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center, the only level II trauma center in southeastern North Carolina.

What We're Looking For:

Education:

• Graduate of an accredited school of medicine required
• Completion of an accredited residency program required
• For specialty physicians - completion of an accredited fellowship program specific to medical specialty

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

• Current MD or DO license in appropriate state
• Board certification or eligibility
• Current DEA license required
