Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive ultrasound examinations across multiple modalities, including broad abdominal, pelvic, vascular, small parts, obstetric and pediatric imaging
- Conduct Doppler studies (umbilical cord, cerebral) and fetal anatomy survey; perform transvaginal and transabdominal imaging as indicated
- Execute vascular duplex studies (upper and lower extremities arterial/venous, carotid) and assist with ultrasound-guided procedures
- Document findings with accuracy in the charting system; communicate results to ordering clinicians; ensure image quality and patient safety
- Prepare patients, position them appropriately, maintain sterile technique, and support interventional guidance as needed
- May float within the hospital or to nearby affiliates per unit needs; participate in credentialing and onboarding processes

Requirements
- Valid California Diagnostic Medical Sonographer license in hand; ARDMS certification and BLS certification
- Minimum 3 years ultrasound experience; proficiency across abdominal, pelvic, vascular, obstetric and pediatric exams
- Epic charting experience preferred; ability to learn and utilize the Epic system for documentation
- Hospital-based travel assignment eligibility; ability to work 5x8 day shifts; willingness to work 2 of the 3 major holidays
- Submission requirements include SSN, DOB, and RTO; references (2) covering 1 year within the last 3 years; local 50-mile radius submission rule applies
- Vaccination policy: COVID-19 vaccine not required; Flu vaccine status not specified
