Our beautiful community hosts 101 Assisted Living and 36 Memory Care apartments. This license practical nurse schedule includes 80 hours in two weeks, Day shift, with a flexible schedule decided between you and the hiring leader. Includes every other weekend. Responsibilities Provides professional nursing care: Consults with Registered Nurse (RN) regarding resident condition and treatments. Promptly transcribes and implements practitioners' orders. Orders medication and supplies in a timely manner Assists RN in adherence to medication administration procedures. Assembles and operates medical equipment used for resident care. Reports changes in resident status to the RN. Initiates emergency treatment as needed. Reports status to RN. Performs skilled nursing care per individualized care plan under the direction of RN. Carries out proper charting practices and procedures Assists in completing supervisory/monitoring visits. Performs any other duties as assigned or delegated by RN. Maintains current observation and documentation of tenant/resident health status. Supports RN to complete initial and on-going assessments per Minnesota home care regulations and Nurse Practice Act. Assists RN to assure that tenants/residents have up-to-date service agreements and care plans. Maintains clinical charts and progress notes using computerized documentation system. Communicates changes in resident conditions to RN, practitioners, and other relevant individuals.
