Mechanic Helper

Mechanic Helper Location: On-Site in Garden City Park & Field Work Schedule: Full-Time. Monday - Friday, 7 AM - 3:30 PM Pay: $17 - $20/hour Benefits: Health insurance (medical, dental, vision), EAP, PTO, paid holidays, 401K, ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan) Power-Flo Technologies is seeking a Mechanic Helper to join our Pump and Motor Repair Team. What You'll Do: Assist mechanics with cleaning, painting, testing, and disassembling AC/DC motors & pumps. Clean parts Maintain the tool areas Help troubleshoot & repair pumps, motors, and fans in-shop and on-site. Use power tools, hand tools, and a multimeter for repairs. Assist with the replacing & wiring of electric motors at job sites. What You Need: Mechanical/technical skills & experience with hand/power tools. Ability to troubleshoot electrical & mechanical systems. Basic PC knowledge & strong communication skills. Valid driver's license (clean for 7 years). Physical Requirements: Stand for up to 8 hours, lift 50 lbs, and work on ladders/platforms. Exposure to dust, loud noise, and temperature changes. This position may require standing, stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching and/or reaching Good hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills may be required for hand tools, power tools, and other machinery Join our team and build your skills in a hands-on environment!
