Senior Actuary (FSA) - Life Projections (Newport Beach)

Role: Senior Actuary in the Enterprise Actuarial Life Projections Team.

Responsibilities

• Support Economic Valuation, Economic Capital calculations, and Asset Adequacy Analysis.
• Prepare projections, act as liaison for regulatory and audit requirements, and oversee model data management.
• Assist with finance transformation projects and ensure compliance with Model Risk Management standards.
• Develop analytical tools, implement process improvements, and support automation initiatives.
• Mentor and develop junior staff, communicate complex modeling issues clearly, and foster collaboration.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, finance, mathematics, or related field; FSA with 6+ years of experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; experience with actuarial software like MG-ALFA or Prophet preferred.
• Ability to work independently, lead projects, and manage long-term initiatives.
• Knowledge of life insurance products and regulatory requirements is a plus.
