Nurse Educator NPDP - Med Surg / Telemetry

Job Overview The Nursing Professional Development Practitioner (NPDP) is a registered professional nurse with expertise in nursing professional development, education, and/or a specific area of nursing practice. The NPDP will be directly involved in the orientation and onboarding of newly licensed graduate nurses in the Medical Surgical/Stepdown/Telemetry division through the NOURISH Nursing Orientation Unit for RN Integration Support and Health. The NPDP will also support new hire nurses in the designated areas. Experience for this role includes an in-depth understanding and management of a wide scope of patients, including adult Medical Surgical/Telemetry/Stepdown patients. This role will support a primary focus in Medical Surgical / Telemetry / Stepdown areas. Schedule Full-Time Day Shift Qualifications Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing. Active New Jersey RN License or approved compact RN license required. MSN in Nursing or Masters in Education is required. Must have demonstrated competence in care of the adult Medical Surgical / Telemetry population. Must have demonstrated competency in cardiac rhythm interpretation. A minimum of 2 years of experience in the specialty is required. Experience in education or staff development required. Clinical specialty certification such as PCCN, CMSRN preferred. Certification in Nursing Professional Development preferred. BLS and ACLS required. Pay Transparency $114,500.00 - $145,000.00 per year. The above reflects the anticipated annual salary range for this position if hired to work in New Jersey. The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.
