Experience the rewarding impact of supporting students’ academic and emotional wellbeing as an onsite school psychologist in a dynamic educational environment. This part-time contract position, scheduled from late August 2026 to early June 2027, offers the chance to collaborate with staff and families while making a meaningful difference across multiple locations. The role is structured at 0.4 FTE, averaging approximately 15 hours per week. The district is open to considering an onsite school social worker as well, for those with the relevant qualifications.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Valid Minnesota School Psychologist license
  • Graduate degree in School Psychology or related field
  • Previous experience in K-12 environments preferred
  • Skilled in assessment, intervention, counseling, and behavioral support
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
  • Familiarity with state education regulations and IEP process
  • Flexible, resourceful, and committed to student success
  • Willingness to work onsite across specified locations
  • Candidates must provide both a current MN School Psychologist license and a resume to be considered

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide psychological evaluations, assessments, and evidence-based interventions
  • Support eligibility determinations and participate in IEP meetings
  • Collaborate with teachers, administration, and families on student support plans
  • Deliver counseling services to students individually or in small groups
  • Monitor progress and adjust strategies to meet changing needs
  • Promote a positive school climate and advocate for students’ diverse needs
  • Maintain accurate records and uphold confidentiality standards
  • Engage in professional development and maintain current knowledge of best practices
