In this role, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, control site access, and conduct routine patrols while remaining visible to help deter incidents. You will deliver strong customer service and communication, bringing an agile, reliable, and innovative approach while putting people first and working with integrity and teamwork.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, contractors, and employees by following site-specific access control procedures, badge verification steps, and security-related policies at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, manage visitor logs, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established communication channels when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, perimeter, and access points, noting unusual conditions and reporting security-related concerns.
• Support emergency response activities by controlling site access during incidents, assisting with traffic and personnel direction, and following post orders and/or client procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
