Fairfield Inn & Suites in New Braunfels, TX, is calling on a reliable and professional person to join our hospitality team as a full-time Front Desk Receptionist!If you're motivated to assist guests however possible, you can earn competitive pay starting at $14/hour. When you join us, you'll have the opportunity to grow alongside a well-recognized brand and play a key part in amazing travel experiences for countless guests. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:Our Front Desk Receptionist sets the tone for the guests' experience, delivering upbeat customer service and taking care of any issues that could negatively impact the hotel stay. You'll come to work with a neat appearance, professional attitude, and a real desire to help however you can. We welcome a diverse range of guests, and you'll make sure to treat every individual respectfully, acknowledge guests in public areas (following the 5/10 rule), and recommend hotel services or local attractions. If guests have any questions, concerns, or requests, you'll work with the appropriate teams (housekeeping, maintenance, leadership, etc.) to make things right.While at the front desk, you'll warmly greet guests, answer phone calls, schedule reservations, and work within our property management system to check guests in and out of the hotel. You'll accurately process payments, distribute keys correctly, update records, and follow the shift checklist to complete necessary day-to-day activities. Following our marketing program, you'll upsell packages and room upgrades to help increase revenue.We take guest satisfaction and safety very seriously, and you'll be responsible for learning and following all hotel health, security, and emergency protocols. If guests are injured or leave items behind, you'll follow our procedures for resolving the situation. You'll attend required meetings/training, follow all timekeeping policies, and help in other areas as needed to maintain guest satisfaction and high hospitality standards! FRONT DESK RECEPTIONIST QUALIFICATIONS:Guest services experienceHigh school diploma or equivalentProfessional communication and customer service skillsSolid computer skills, particularly with Microsoft applicationsStrong organizational, planning, and time management abilitiesAbility to work flexible schedules based on hotel needsAbility to work well independently and as part of a teamAbility to complete timely, high-quality work in a fast-paced environment and adjust priorities as neededAbility to stand for extended periods, move up to 50 lbs., work at a desk and computer area, and operate office equipmentAre you the Front Desk Receptionist we're looking for?
