University Partners is currently seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to join our team and help maintain a safe, comfortable, and welcoming community for our residents. JOBPURPOSE: Maintenance Technicians perform a variety of responsibilities, including work orders, grounds and common area clean up and maintenance, and maintaining good resident relations. PRIMARYDUTIES&RESPONSIBILITIES: Duties and responsibilities will include those specifically assigned by the employees immediate supervisor. Providingexcellentservicetoresidents,guests,employeesandcontractors. Completingallroutineservicerequestswithin24hoursatthedirectionofMaintenanceSupervisor. Ensuringthecleanconditionofthecommunityatalltimes. Maintainingthemaintenanceshopaccordingtopolicy. ReportingmaintenanceissuestotheMaintenanceSupervisorandCommunityManagerforreview. AssistinginothertasksasdirectedbytheMaintenanceSupervisor. Spotcleaningthemodelandvacantunitsonadailybasis. Qualifications: Workingknowledgeofelectric,plumbing,HVACandbasicconstruction. Ageneralmechanicalaptitudecombinedwithawillingnessanddesiretolearn. Abilitytoreadandcomprehendsimpleinstructions,shortcorrespondence,andmemos.Ability to write simple correspondence.Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Abilitytoadd,subtract,multiply,anddivideinallunitsofmeasure,usingwholenumbers, common fractions, and decimals. Abilitytoapplycommonsenseunderstandingtocarryoutinstructionsfurnishedinwritten,oral, or diagram form.
