Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver tailored instruction to elementary students with exceptional needs in both inclusive and specialized classroom settings
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)

• Organize and manage classroom activities, adapting materials to suit individual learning abilities
• Track progress and maintain detailed records for reporting and compliance
• Foster a positive, supportive, and respectful classroom community
• Participate in professional meetings, training, and curriculum development initiatives

Qualifications:

• Valid New York State certification in Special Education
• Experience working with elementary-aged students, especially in inclusive settings
