DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Identify staffing needs and communicate those needs to the Collections Director
• Screen, interview, and hire new employees
• Arrange for the training of new employees
• Receive and review statistical documents from Information Services and provide that information to the appropriate Collector/Patient Account Representative
• Assure productivity of each staff member
• Review each staff member’s productivity on a monthly basis and perform annual evaluations
• Counsel staff with disciplinary and productivity issues
• Work as a liaison between the Collections services staff and other staff
• Resolve issues escalated by customers and/or Collections staff
• Conduct monthly staff meetings

QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Bachelor’s Degree 
• Minimum 3 years managing collections, preferably in a multi-site/multi-state environment
• Ability to understand and demonstrate knowledge of the Revenue Cycle processes, AR Aging Analysis and follow up
• Ability to Identify Trends
• Ability to build and maintain internal and external relationships
• Must be flexible
• Proven track record of inventory management and account resolution
• Proven track record managing staff productivity and quality
• Proven track record of successful process improvement in account resolution
