Sr. Solar Electrical Engineer

Job Overview A solar engineering company located in Belmar, NJ is seeking a Sr. Solar Electrical Engineer to join their team. This can be a hybrid or remote position. Salary: $155K. Responsibilities Actively participate in many phases of photovoltaic projects, including site investigations, CAD production, design and contract documents, basic specifications, and construction administration process. Responsible for full project design and for quality of work in developing final construction documents as well as concept designs or Design Development drawings. Design both Commercial & Industrial (C&I) and utility‑scale ground‑mount PV systems (5MW+). Serve as the design authority for assigned projects. Independently develop complete electrical designs without senior oversight or technical review. Take full responsibility for accuracy, constructability, and code compliance of issued drawings and calculations. Make final engineering decisions on system design, equipment selection, and code interpretation. Deliver client‑ready, permit‑ready, and IFC packages without reliance on others for technical validation.
