Dawn to Dusk Wellbeing Center, is a new and well established DDD provider with a mission to serve adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities at their home, out in the community and at our Day Program. Our vision is to offer physical, mental, emotional and social wellbeing to adults with varying degrees of developmental, cognitive and/or physical needs while also engaging in a variety of activities designed to promote their overall wellbeing. We are currently seeking Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to work under the supervision of our Physical Therapist to provide habilitative services to our participants at our Day Habilitation Program. Successful candidates will be extremely organized and highly communicative. Working closely with the Physical Therapist, participant, their families and/or group home staff, support coordinator and other stakeholder, the Physical Therapist Assistant will provide essential therapeutic support aimed at preserving the physical function and independence of our adult clients. This role is dedicated to the maintenance of current abilities and the prevention of regression through consistent, proactive intervention through the implementation of fun therapeutic activities designed to maintain existing levels of strength, endurance, balance, coordination, range of motion, and functional mobility.

• Must possess a valid Physical Therapist Assistant license from the New Jersey Board of Physical Therapy Examiners.
• Previous experience Or interest in a habilitation setting Or pediatrics is preferred.

Job Types: Part-time, PRN, Per Diem with ability to increase to full-time with increasing caseload.
