Position Overview:

ShipIt is looking for a visionary Public Relations Manager to act as the primary guardian of our brand's reputation and community impact. We are not just looking for a coordinator; we are looking for a creative strategist who lives to create positive effects on people and build a reputable, purpose-driven image for our company. You will be the face and voice that bridges the gap between our internal excellence and the public's perception.

What You'll Do:

• Architect and execute high-impact PR events, including community outreach, sponsorships, and volunteer initiatives that reflect our core values.
• Direct all event logistics and vendor coordination to ensure seamless execution and maximum media coverage.
• Craft and distribute compelling press releases and maintain a network of media contacts.
• Prepare executives for media appearances and serve as a confident spokesperson for the brand.
• Collaborate with creative and social teams to oversee PR-driven content and ensure a unified brand voice.
• Monitor and analyze public sentiment to proactively guide future campaigns and messaging.
• Manage PR budgets with a focus on cost-efficiency and high-value impact.
• Build and maintain deep relationships with industry leaders, influencers, and community stakeholders.

What we're looking for:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of strong experience in event planning and media relations with a portfolio of successful campaigns
• An expert communicator
• A creative strategist with a vivid imagination for recognition initiatives and brand storytelling
• High proficiency in Google Suite and a quick aptitude for learning new software systems
• A critical thinker who remains calm under pressure and resolves issues with a proactive mindset

Pay: Hourly, $18 -$20 per hour, based on experience

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
