Position: Order Picker / Forklift Operator

Location: Canarsie, Brooklyn, NY

Shift: 1st Shift | Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Pay Rate: $19.90 / hour ---

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced, safety-conscious Warehouse Equipment Operator to join our team in Canarsie, Brooklyn. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately picking orders, moving inventory, and operating standard warehouse equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate Sit-Down Forklifts, Cherry Pickers (Order Pickers), and Stand-Up Reach Trucks safely and efficiently.

• Accurately select, pick, and prepare orders for shipment using RF scanners.

• Replenish stock in high-bay rack storage areas.

• Load and unload incoming/outgoing freight.

• Perform daily pre-shift inspection checks on equipment.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of hands-on experience operating:
  • Sit-down Forklift

  • Cherry Picker / Order Picker (comfortable with heights)

  • Stand-up Reach Truck

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs comfortably.
• attention to detail and accuracy with order picking.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality for a 7:00 AM start.

• Must be authorized to work in the US.

salary: $20 - $25 per hour

work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM
education: No Degree Required
