As an equal opportunity employer, we celebrate diversity and are committed to an inclusive environment for all employees and patients.Day in the Life of a Substance Abuse CounselorProvides individual counseling to highly complex patientsConducts clinical assessments to appropriately assess patient’s treatment needsDesigns and updates the patient’s treatment plan, including care coordination, referrals, and discharge planningManages assigned caseload and compliance with clinical treatment requirementsCollaborates with nurses and providers to provide holistic treatment servicesFacilitates urine drug screening for patientsSchedule and HoursExpected hours for this role are 37-40 hours per week.8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday through FridayQualified candidates will hold one or more of the following certifications/licenses:MSW working on licensureLMSWLCSWLPCLAPCLADACLADAC ILADAC IIPosition BenefitsConsistent schedule with early in times and out timesAdvancement opportunities.
