Functions under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or LVN at all times. Reports to Charge RN OR, Business Supervisor and DON.ResponsibilitiesAssist with admitting patients from the waiting room to the pro-op areaAssist with dressing patients in proper surgical attire before surgeryHook-up patient monitors and obtain first set of vital signs and recordAssist patients during transfers on/off gurneyKeep PACU supplies well stockedProvides pre/post-operative care and instructions.Assists in surgery by preparing the laser room with supplies and sterilized equipment.Stocks all medication and medical supplies by proactively planning work week to ensure completion of required tasks.Calls to request pre/post-ops on surgery patients.Orders all medical supplies.Keeps up with all regular and emergency maintenance on medical equipment.QualificationsBLS certifiedHigh School Diploma or EquivalentOne year experience in a Medical settingMinUSD $22.00/Yr.MaxUSD $28.00/Yr.
