We are seeking an LCSW to provide mental health services to active‑duty naval staff in a supportive and collaborative environment. Responsibilities Develop program content and organize activities to enhance social development of individual members and group goals. Interview individuals to assess social and emotional capabilities and plan group composition based on compatibility. Select programs appropriate to group goals, development level, needs, capacities, and interests. Conduct individual counseling/therapy. Conduct group therapy (e.g., PTSD groups, weight management, smoking cessation, grieving, personal interactions). Provide marriage counseling. Engage members in planning and assuming responsibility for activities. Help members develop attitudes and social skills for improved family relations and community responsibility. Refer members, when indicated, to community resources and other organizations. Maintain skills acquired through a master’s degree program in social work with a focus on clinical practice. Qualifications Master’s degree or higher in social work from a program registered by the Department of Education. LCSW/MSW licensure in any of the 50 United States. Minimum of 2 years of post‑master direct counseling experience within the last four years. BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
