Cyber Security Analyst

Akkodis is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst for a Contract with a client in Indianapolis, IN (Remote). The ideal candidate must have proven expertise in identifying risks, guiding informed security decisions, and serving as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and cybersecurity teams.


Rate Range: $50/Hour to $53/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.


Cyber Security Analyst Job Responsibilities include:

• Identify, assess, and communicate technology and cybersecurity risks, enabling business leaders to make informed risk-based decisions.
• Act as the primary cybersecurity liaison for the business, ensuring effective communication and alignment between business stakeholders and security teams.
• Provide security design requirements and guidance in accordance with IT policies, standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Support business initiatives by evaluating security implications and recommending appropriate controls and risk mitigation strategies.
• Monitor emerging cybersecurity threats, industry trends, and best practices to strengthen the organization's security posture.
• Respond to business stakeholder inquiries regarding cybersecurity programs, policies, and compliance requirements while promoting security awareness across the organization.

Required Qualifications:

• 10-15 years of experience in Information Security, Cybersecurity Governance, Risk Management, or a Business Information Security Officer (BISO) role.
• Proven experience identifying technology and cybersecurity risks and advising business leaders on informed risk-based decisions.
• Strong ability to act as the primary cybersecurity liaison between business units and security teams, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Hands-on experience providing security design guidance, implementing security standards, and supporting compliance with cybersecurity policies; CISM certification preferred.

Pay Details: $50.00 to $53.00 per hour
