Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights (3x12 Hours, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity Intensive Care Unit setting with a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Monitor, assess, and respond to critically ill patients requiring intensive nursing interventions
• Document patient care accurately and thoroughly using Epic electronic health records
• Float to like units (including DSU) as needed to support staffing requirements
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Adhere to all facility policies, compliance requirements, and unit-specific protocols

Required Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered California RN license (must be in hand prior to start)
• Minimum of 2 years of recent ICU experience required
• Current ACLS and BLS/BCLS certifications required
• Ability to work every other weekend, with potential for additional weekend shifts to meet unit needs
• Must commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• No open license or background hits; all disclosures must be made at time of submission

Preferred Experience / Skills

• High-acuity ICU experience strongly preferred
• Prior experience charting in Epic electronic health records
• Familiarity with Magnet-designated acute care hospital environments
