Exciting Opportunity for Travel RN in Med Surg / Ortho Trauma Unit!

Job Description:


- Shift: 19:00 - 07:00 (7P - 7A)
- Unit Info:
- Location: 500 W Main Street, Lewisville, TX 75057
- Floor: 4th Floor, Building A Tower
- Number of Beds: 32
- Staffing:
- Day Shift: 1 Charge Nurse, 4-5 Nurses (RN/LVN), 2-3 PCTs
- Night Shift: 1 Charge Nurse, 4-5 Nurses (RN/LVN), 2-3 PCTs
- Patient Ratios: 1:6
- Equipment:
- Baxter IV pumps
- Welch Allyn VS machines
- EMR: Meditech
- On Call Requirement: N/A
- Floating Requirement: May float to sister department (Surgical Telemetry Unit) or Inpatient Rehab

Typical Procedures Performed:
- Ambulation of patients
- Wound care as needed

Candidate Requirements:
- Must Have:
- BLS certification
- 2 years of Med Surg experience
- Preferred Skills:
- Charge nurse experience
- Preceptor experience
