Must possess a current CPR Certification. Prefer 2-3 years nursing experience Essential Responsibilities Administer all medications, treatments, blood sugar monitoring and other medical care to residents as prescribed by the physician/psychiatrist, according to the facility’s specific policies and procedures. Provide emergency care services, as needed. Document in the patient’s medical record. Provide emotional support and counseling to all residents, as needed. Provide resident education regarding medications, treatments and other medical care, as needed. Notify physicians of abnormal resident condition, lab values, vital signs, behavior, incidents, and/or reactions to medications.
