Job Summary

Crowne Tax & Accounting is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Staff Accountant to join our team. This position supports daily accounting operations including financial recordkeeping, payroll processing, financial reporting, and tax preparation support using QuickBooks .

This role is ideal for someone with accounting experience who enjoys working with financial data in a professional office environment .

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain financial records, journal entries, and general ledger accounts
• Record financial transactions and maintain accurate accounting records in QuickBooks
• Assist with payroll processing and payroll documentation
• Reconcile bank statements and financial accounts
• Support preparation of financial statements and financial reports
• Assist with tax preparation and compliance documentation
• Maintain organized financial records and documentation
• Provide general administrative support including filing, email communication, and answering phones
• Collaborate with the accounting team to meet deadlines and maintain accuracy

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• Experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or accounting clerk roles
• Proficiency with QuickBooks or other accounting software
• Strong data entry accuracy and attention to detail
• Knowledge of tax preparation or tax regulations is a plus
• Strong organizational and communication skills
