Community Support Professional

The Mary T Family of Companies is seeking a part-time Community Support Professional to support an individual with disabilities in Bladensburg, Maryland. The Community Support Professional (CSP) supports individuals so they can live a self-directed life and participate in the community. Responsibilities include transportation (shopping, errands, appointments, to/from work), on-the-job coaching and support, activities of daily living, household chores, and teaching basic life skills like money management, budgeting, technology use, medication management, and more. The Community Support Professional will need to be comfortable working independently with clients, with limited supervision. They will need to be self-motivated to find solutions for appointments, transportation, independent living and more. Ideal candidates will have compassion and empathy towards others, and a desire to provide great care. They will need be comfortable taking initiative, solving problems, managing their time, and paying close attention to detail. Schedule Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM (24 hrs/week) Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 4:00 PM - 9:00 PM (15 hrs/wk) Candidates MUST be able to work this schedule as listed.
