Essential Duties & Responsibilities Provides guidance to laborers, schedules and evaluates daily work performed. Interacts well with customers and fellow employees to create a good working environment. Trains employees on equipment as necessary. Performs a wide variety of tasks, but not limited to mowing, policing, trimming, equipment sign-out sheets, vehicle dispatches, 2404 forms and key logs. Operates vehicles and equipment safely and properly to comply with all legal and contractual requirements. Performs operator maintenance and safety checks on all vehicles and equipment used. Coordinates projects with and provides daily updates to the Site Supervisor. Participation in functional specific training that promotes a safe work environment. Required (Minimum Necessary) Qualifications · Education Requirements:High School Diploma or GED equivalent Level of Experience Requirements: Five (5) years experience in grounds maintenance. Must possess a valid Driver’s License. Ability to obtain a HDSS vehicle operations license within sixty (60) days of hire Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics Knowledge of landscaping equipment and operational requirements preferred. Demonstrates qualified skills on all ground’s equipment. Performs limited maintenance on vehicles and tools to include checking engine/brakes/fuel/tires/water. Ability to work without supervision. Must operate equipment safely to task specification under all environmental conditions. · Knowledge of organizational procedures and workflows – understanding how work moves through a company. · Basic knowledge of relevant technologies or tools – e.g., Microsoft 365, communication platforms, or industry‑standard software. · Knowledge of customer service practices – principles of providing quality service and managing inquiries professionally. · Knowledge of data privacy and confidentiality principles – awareness of proper handling of sensitive information. · Communication skills (written and verbal) – ability to convey information clearly and professionally. · Time management and prioritization – balancing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines. · Problem‑solving and critical thinking – analyzing issues and selecting appropriate solutions. · Interpersonal and teamwork skills – building rapport and collaborating effectively with others. · Attention to detail – producing accurate, error‑free work.
