Schedule/Shift

7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, with weekend hours required every other weekend.

Job Description

Join our team in a dynamic environment on a 26-bed unit specializing in neuro/orthopedic/trauma care. You will work with neurosurgical patients including those with spinal surgeries, spine fractures, brain tumors, seizure disorders, VP shunts, head bleeds, traumatic injuries, and joint replacement surgeries. You will utilize the Epic EMR system for documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to neurosurgical patients and those recovering from trauma.
• Monitor patient conditions and administer medications as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Assist in the development and implementation of individualized care plans.

Required Experience

Neuro experience required; no specific years of experience stated.

Certifications/Licensure

No specific certification required, but a valid RN license is necessary.
