Radiology - Musculoskeletal Radiologist Location: Maywood, Illinois Type: Full Time Overview Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine is seeking an MSK-fellowship trained faculty member to join the Department of Radiology and Medical Imaging at Loyola University Medical Center (LUMC) in Maywood, Illinois, approximately 12 miles from downtown Chicago. Candidates will work primarily at the LUMC campus, with the option of a hybrid setup requiring some on-site presence for interventional procedures such as joint injections, bone marrow sampling, and soft tissue biopsies. Call duties, including evening shifts and weekend plain film coverage, are performed remotely from home using a fully functional PACS/Voice Recognition system. In addition to clinical work, a strong interest in resident education and opportunities for clinical and translational research is essential. Faculty rank and compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications; consideration may be given for appointment as Section Chief. Responsibilities Provide high-quality musculoskeletal imaging examinations across all modalities. Perform interventional procedures including joint injections/aspiration, bone marrow sampling, and soft tissue/bone biopsies. Manage evening shift and weekend plain film call duties remotely. Teach and mentor residents in musculoskeletal radiology clinical and educational activities. Participate in clinical and translational research projects. Qualifications Board eligible or board certified in Radiology. MSK fellowship training in musculoskeletal radiology. Strong clinical skills in musculoskeletal imaging modalities and procedures. Licensed to practice radiology in the State of Illinois at time of hire. Experience in resident education and willingness to engage in teaching. Interest in translational research and academic scholarship. Compensation and Benefits Competitive starting compensation ranging from $159,000 to $985,945 based on academic rank and experience.
