About the Role

As a QA Inspector, you will support the inspection and quality verification of semiconductor packaging components in a growing manufacturing environment. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity with a planned conversion to permanent employment after approximately three months. You will receive hands-on training in inspection methods, microscope operation, defect identification, and quality documentation while supporting incoming, in-process, and final product inspections.


What you will be doing:

• Inspect incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products using microscopes and magnification equipment.
• Identify visible defects, including stains, voids, and plating irregularities, using established inspection criteria.
• Follow documented inspection procedures, work instructions, and quality checklists.
• Escalate questionable conditions and nonconforming material to a senior QA Inspector or management for disposition.
• Perform component cleaning and basic rework in accordance with approved procedures.
• Verify kitted orders against approved quality checklists.
• Record inspection results accurately and maintain required quality documentation.
• Learn to operate testing and inspection equipment as part of on-the-job training.
• Package approved components for shipment according to applicable handling requirements.
• Assist manufacturing operations and continuous improvement activities as assigned.

About You

You are detail-oriented, comfortable working with small components and precision tools, and interested in learning quality inspection practices in a semiconductor manufacturing setting. You can follow written instructions, document findings accurately, and work safely while maintaining careful handling standards.


Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Ability to use tweezers and small tools while working under a microscope.
• Ability to read and follow written work instructions and inspection procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and basic math skills.
• Basic computer proficiency for recording inspection information.
• Willingness to learn new inspection techniques, equipment, and quality processes.
• Ability to work safely and effectively in a manufacturing environment while following quality and material-handling requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Up to two years of related experience in inspection, quality, or manufacturing; prior experience is not required.
