Description: The lab is open Sunday-Thursday. Three night shifts will fall on these days. Employees are not required to work alone. No call requirements. Employees will work nights only. There is limited scoring during data collection. The lab consists of a 10-bed sleep lab. Two of the beds may be used for pediatric testing. All patients require a 2:1 tech ratio, unless younger than three years old, then a 1:1 ratio is required. Work involves performing diagnostic sleep testing, including all PAP therapy titration. Duties include checking in patients, setting up rooms, patient hookup, charting, and cleaning equipment. Computerized charting will be utilized within the unit. Equipment includes Natus XLTech Sleep Works and ResMed S9 Devices. Modified EMR training for new hires will be provided. One shift of orientation will be conducted with another sleep technician. The facility has a secured entrance. No cafeteria services are available on-site. The position allows for limited scoring during data collection. All clinicians must badge in and out while in the facility.
