As a Certified Nursing Assistant I (CNA-I) at Holly Hill Healthcare Center, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, resident-centered care. We are seeking compassionate, dependable, and service-oriented individuals to join our care team and support our mission of enhancing the quality of life, dignity, comfort, and well-being of every resident we serve.

Effective April 2026, the Maryland Board of Nursing redesignated the former Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) credential as Certified Nursing Assistant I (CNA-I). Individuals who previously held or currently hold a Maryland GNA certification satisfy the certification requirements for this position and are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and mobility.

• Provide compassionate, respectful personal care while promoting resident dignity, independence, and quality of life.

• Observe, document, and promptly report changes in resident condition, behavior, or needs to the licensed nurse.

• Assist with repositioning, transfers, ambulation, and other supportive care activities in accordance with resident care plans.

• Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents, visitors, and staff.

• Support infection prevention, safety, and quality assurance practices.

• Collaborate effectively with nurses, therapists, physicians, and other interdisciplinary team members to ensure exceptional resident outcomes.

• Uphold all facility policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  

Qualifications

• Active Maryland Certified Nursing Assistant I (CNA-I) certification in good standing and current listing on the Maryland Board of Nursing Nursing Assistant Registry.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented with a commitment to providing exceptional resident care.

• Previous long-term care, rehabilitation, skilled nursing, or post-acute care experience preferred, but not required.
