Job Summary and Qualifications

Prepares patients, collects pertinent information for completion of radiographic, fluoroscopic and CT images. Communicates effectively with radiologists and peers to assure that relevant information is utilized to assure successful completion of the procedure.

Administers contrast media as required, under the supervision of an LIP.

Performs all general diagnostic radiographic and CT procedures skillfully and knowledgeably and in accordance with Quality Control guidelines and Dose Watch.

Observant of patient's conditions. Notifies physician or supervisor of unusual occurrences.

Practices radiation safety as prescribed by standards and utilizing the ALARA policy.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (ARRT-CT) Computed Tomography
• (ARRT-R) Radiography
• Vocational School Graduate
• Previous experience as a diagnostic technologist.
