Come join our amazing team!/ppWe offer a competitive salary and a full comprehensive benefit package to full-time employees:/pulliMedical 3 Tier Options - Health Savings Account Live Health Online/liliDental/liliVision/liliEmployer Paid Life and ADD 1 x annual Earnings/liliEmployer Paid Short-term Disability/liliEmployer Paid Long-term Disability/liliVoluntary Life Insurance/liliVoluntary Accident and Critical Illness/liliEmployee Assistance Program/lili401K - Safe Harbor match of 100% up to 3% of pay and then 50% on the next 2% of pay/liliTuition Reimbursement/liliBereavement Leave/liliSick Time/liliVacation Time/lili12 Paid Holidays/li/ulpEqual Opportunity Employer, including veterans and individuals with disabilities./ph3Job Summary/h3pResponsible for planning, developing, implementing, overseeing, and integrating safety and security programs for the Center and supervises Security Officers./ph3Duties/h3ulliEnsures the safety, health, and security of students, staff, and property./liliSupervises Security Officers and coordinates work schedules./liliAdministers rules and procedures regulating the entry, exit, and conduct of persons who seek access to the campus./liliAssists in the conduct of evaluation drills, fire drills, active shooter drills, etc. as required by the PRH./liliSecures premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry./liliObtains help by sounding alarms./liliPrevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures; restraining trespassers./liliCompletes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures./liliMaintains environment by monitoring and setting building and equipment controls./liliMaintains organizations stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements./liliEnsures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturers instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; evaluating new equipment and techniques./liliContributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed./liliEnsures and enforces all laws, rules and policies within his/her scope of authority./liliConducts foot patrols all assigned areas and remains alert for disturbances, fires, safety hazards, traffic violators, suspicious acts and/or persons, and other unusual conditions./liliAids and assists visitors, student employees and staff in every way possible./liliPerforms building security and safety checks./liliReceives complaints and performs appropriate investigations as directed by management./liliProvides transportation service as needed or assigned./liliInvestigates vehicle accidents as assigned./liliIssues visitor passes and temporary parking permits./liliParticipates in preparation and enforcement of Centers safety and fire prevention program./liliParticipates in daily briefing covering assignments, proper dress, and procedures./liliProvides written and oral reports, briefings, or summaries to appropriate staff./liliComplies with all DOL guidelines, OFCCP regulations, Job Corps notices and bulletins, and Center policies and procedures./liliMaintains good housekeeping in all areas and complies with safety practices/liliFollows CDSS plan and the Standards of Conduct system./liliModels, mentors, monitors appropriate Career Success Standards./liliContinuously helps students become more employable/liliAssists in maintaining student security and accountability during training, day and evening, by continuously walking through those areas where students are being trained, having lunch, participating in dorm activities, recreational activities, and monitors grounds over entire Center./liliPerforms other duties as assigned by management within the employees capabilities./li/ulh3Requirements/h3pTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Associates Degree preferred./ph3Experience/h3pAt least one year in a residential living setting and background in youth programs or law enforcement is preferred./ph3Certificates, Licenses, Registrations/h3pValid State Drivers License with CDL endorsement./ph3Physical Demands/h3pThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
