Position Overview The Cytotechnologist will perform cytological evaluations and assist with diagnostic procedures while maintaining the highest standards of quality assurance and specimen integrity. Candidates must possess strong experience with non-gynecological specimens, fine needle aspirations, and laboratory quality control processes. Schedule & Assignment Details Monday–Friday schedule No weekends required No on-call responsibilities 13- to 26-week contract options available First-time travelers welcome Local candidates accepted Required Cytology Experience Non-Gynecological Cytology Ascitic Fluid Esophageal Specimens Gastric Specimens Spinal Fluid Specimens ThinPrep Processing Respiratory Cytology Bronchial Specimens Body Fluids Urine Cytology Fine Needle Aspiration (FNA) Assisting with procedures Smear preparation Preliminary diagnosis support Specimen staining Laboratory Responsibilities Perform cytological specimen evaluation and screening. Assist with on-site pathology procedures. Ensure accurate specimen labeling and identification. Perform quality control (QC) and quality assurance (QA) activities. Prepare cytology laboratory specimens and materials. Maintain compliance with laboratory regulations and accreditation standards. Collaborate with pathologists and laboratory personnel to support patient diagnosis and care.
