Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Active State Physical Therapist License (sanctioned by the State Board of Physical Therapy)
• Prior experience working in schools or with pediatric populations is highly valued, though not mandatory
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to interact effectively with colleagues, students, and families
• Committed to ongoing professional growth and adhering to state and federal regulations

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for students needing physical therapy services
• Work alongside teachers and special education teams to support classroom participation and mobility goals
• Deliver direct and consultative therapy to help students achieve optimal educational access
• Document progress and maintain accurate, confidential records in compliance with school, state, and federal guidelines
• Educate school staff and caregivers on techniques and strategies to support student development
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
