Network TechnicianOnsite - Dallas, TX 75208 Pay range (based on level of experience): $25.00-$28.00/HRPosition Details:Contract position with possible extension(s) or hire Fri - Sun 8am to 8pm Position will build into more of a network role once new site is fully operational currently 70% structured cabling 20% network Parking is either free or $4 daily parking ticket can be validated.Requirements:2-5 yrs relevant experience Prefer 1 year experience in a data center environment Fiber Optic cabling installation, inspection and cleaning (80%; SM (more); MM) Fiber: pairing 96 to 128 strands Copper cable termination and certification (CAT 6) Knowledge of IEEE and BICSI cabling standards Experience with Fluke Versiv Mainframe Cable patching between devices Installing and decommissioning Racks & network devices Physical layer (also known as Layer 1) troubleshooting Equipment disposal activities Network troubleshooting Must be willing to work shift work which includes nights and weekends
