Location Los Angeles, CA Work Schedule Hybrid (3 days in office / 2 days remote) About the client Our client is a premier California-based law firm recognized for delivering sophisticated legal counsel across real estate, litigation, corporate, land use, environmental, bankruptcy, and financial services matters. Position Overview They are seeking a Bankruptcy Attorne y with 3+ years of experienc e in commercial litigation, creditors' rights and remedies, receiverships, bankruptcy, or commercial landlord/tenant matters to join our growing Bankruptcy, Receiverships & Creditor Remedie s practice in Los Angeles. This role offers the opportunity to represent lenders, financial institutions, landlords, receivers, trustees, creditors, and businesses in complex insolvency and commercial litigation matters. Attorneys will work closely with experienced partners on sophisticated cases involving bankruptcy proceedings, receiverships, creditor enforcement actions, and commercial dispute Key Responsibilities Represent secured and unsecured creditors in bankruptcy proceedings. Handle all phases of commercial litigation in both California state and federal courts. Manage matters involving creditors' rights, loan enforcement, foreclosure, and collections. Represent court-appointed receivers, trustees, landlords, and financial institutions. Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and settlement agreements. Conduct legal research and prepare strategic case analyses. Attend hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and court conferences. Take and defend depositions of parties and witnesses. Assist with bankruptcy litigation, preference actions, fraudulent transfer claims, and other contested matters. Collaborate with clients to develop effective litigation and recovery strategies. Maintain strong client relationships while managing multiple active matters. Qualifications J.D. from an accredited law school. Active membership in the California State Bar in good standing. 3+ years of experience in one or more of the following: Commercial litigation Creditors' rights and remedies Bankruptcy law Receiverships Commercial landlord/tenant litigation Salary and Other Compensation The annual salary for this position is between [$250,000 – $325,000 annually]. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
