Job Description Job Description Trademark Docket Specialist A premier global law firm is seeking a Trademark Docket Specialist to join its Trademark & Copyright Practice Group. Reporting to the Manager of Trademark Portfolio Services, this position plays a key role in supporting a sophisticated international trademark portfolio practice. This hybrid opportunity is available in Washington, DC, Boston, New York, Houston, Philadelphia, Orange County, San Francisco, Silicon Valley, Seattle, or Chicago. Flexibility to work overtime as needed is required. Key Responsibilities * Review, monitor, and process trademark correspondence from trademark offices, foreign associates, clients, and internal stakeholders worldwide. * Maintain accurate docket records and enter critical trademark deadlines into the docketing system. * Identify and communicate upcoming deadlines to attorneys and paralegals on a daily basis. * Work closely with legal teams to ensure timely filings, responses, renewals, and other trademark-related actions. * Generate, review, and distribute docket reports to attorneys and staff. * Assist with the onboarding and integration of new trademark portfolios. * Verify filing confirmations and supporting documentation to ensure deadlines have been met. * Support the continued growth and success of the firm's trademark portfolio management practice. Qualifications * Minimum of two years of trademark docketing experience. HIGHER salary is for 7 plus years of trademark docketing experience and some leadership experience. * Experience with CPI or a comparable intellectual property docketing system preferred. * Exceptional attention to detail and strong proofreading skills. * Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. * Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize competing deadlines. * Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new software applications quickly. * Professional, self-motivated, and able to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
