Registered Nurse (RN)We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Medical-Surgical Telemetry Float Pool. The candidate will work across multiple units, providing high-quality care to a diverse population of patients. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with a dynamic clinical team and work in a variety of specialties.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with various medical conditions.Float between multiple units, including General MS-Tele, Cardiac, Neuro, Oncology, Rehab, Renal, Bariatrics, Ortho, Trauma, and ED Observations.Monitor patient health, taking necessary interventions based on acuity levels.Administer medications and IV therapies, including titration of heparin drips as required.Participate in unit orientation and training with designated preceptors.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.QualificationsMinimum of 2 years of Medical-Surgical Telemetry experience required.Experience in neuro nursing is highly preferred.Active BLS and ACLS certifications.Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as well as accommodate a 6-week schedule.Nurse-Patient RatiosThe standard nurse-patient ratio is 1:5-6, depending on patient acuity.Work EnvironmentShifts: 7 PM – 7 AM.Weekend Requirements: 6-9 weekend shifts within a 6-week schedule.Holiday Requirements: May be included in holiday rotation.Charge Nurses are designated for each unit and may take patient assignments if necessary, especially during night shifts.Equipment and ProceduresThe department is equipped with necessary respiratory therapy equipment, including vents, CPAP, and BiPAP.Orientation and Cancellation PolicyUnit-specific orientation will last 1-2 days with a preceptor.Cancellations: The facility may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment.LocationPosition available in the float pool covering multiple units across various locations within the region, primarily around City, State.Client Details Address 1010 Three Springs Blvd City Durango State CO Zip Code 81301
