Teaspoon of Nurturing Touch Homecare Agency

Job Description

Teaspoon of Nurturing Touch Homecare Agency is seeking compassionate, dependable caregivers to provide personal care services for a bariatric client in Lafayette, Indiana.

This position is ideal for caregivers who are patient, reliable, and comfortable working with individuals who require extensive physical assistance.

Schedule Needed:

Weekday evenings

Weekends (day and/or evening shifts available)

Part-time opportunities available

Client Needs:

Bariatric care experience preferred

Client is bedridden and non-ambulatory

Assistance with all activities of daily living (ADLs)

Personal care, bathing, grooming, dressing, and incontinence care

Repositioning for comfort and skin integrity

Meal preparation

Light housekeeping related to client care

Companionship and emotional support

Required Skills:

Comfortable using a Hoyer Lift and other transfer equipment

Ability to safely follow transfer and positioning procedures

Experience with bedbound or high-acuity clients preferred

Professional, dependable, and compassionate demeanor

Reliable transportation

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to assist with repositioning and care of a bariatric client using proper equipment and safety procedures.

Must be comfortable working in a hands-on caregiving environment.

Qualifications:

Home Health Aide (HHA), CNA, DSP, or equivalent caregiving experience preferred

Current CPR certification preferred

Background check required
