About the Position

Job Title: RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Candidates must possess overall PCU experience Description: The Progressive Care Unit has a total of 16 beds. The unit is staffed by 42 individuals. During the day shift, the typical staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 4 RNs, and 2 Patient Care Technicians. The night shift consists of 1 charge nurse, 4 RNs, and 2 Patient Care Technicians. Patient ratios are maintained at 4:1. The unit utilizes a collaborative electronic medical record system. There are no on-call or floating requirements for staff. Ideal candidates will possess a collaborative and team-oriented personality. Candidates lacking the required experience will not be considered for this role. Preference will be given to those with BLS and ACLS certifications. The unit encourages the application of travel RNs, local Certified Nursing Assistants, and sitters. This is an excellent opportunity to join a team focused on delivering high-quality patient care.
