Parsons provides program and facilities assessment support to a DOD client worldwide. We are seeking a Senior Facilities Assessor to evaluate and monitor field assessment data, assist in developing cost estimates, and support our global facilities assessment work. Work as part of a team performing facility evaluations by applying architectural and/or engineering standards, practices, and techniques. The Facilities Assessor at this level regularly exercises his/her familiarity of company and project practices and procedures, and is experienced in project mobilization, setup and orientation procedures. Assessors are responsible for visually evaluating the architectural/MEP building systems, gathering data, and noting any deficient conditions.Project:Parsons is managing a Technical Services (TS) program for an agency within the Department of Defense to review third party A/E work; conduct studies, analysis, testing and measuring; perform specialized engineering services, planning and design reviews; commissioning services; and construction oversight on worldwide delivery orders. Responsibilities:Parsons is seeking a Facilities Assessor to perform the following:Work as part of a team performing facility evaluations by applying engineering standards, practices, and techniques.Visually evaluating the architectural/MEP building systems, gathering data, and noting any deficient conditions.Upload gathered data into the clients CMMS system.Support our global facilities assessment work. QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering or Construction Management (or related field is preferred)Must have at least 12+ years of relevant work experienceMechanical or electrical expertise preferred.Must be US Citizen.Active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance required.SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:Proficiency in the application of engineering and architectural design standards, practices, and techniqueRequires a working knowledge of commercial construction codes and their application to existing facilitiesProficient PC skills including proficiency in various Project Controls Software and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong written and oral communication skillsAbility to walk for long periods (6 to 8 hours/day) and climb laddersMust be able to travel between 6% - 12% of the year based on customer needs.Security Clearance Requirement:An active Top Secret SCI w/Polygraph security clearance is required for this position.​This position is part of our Federal Solutions team.The Federal Solutions segment delivers resources to our US government customers that ensure the success of missions around the globe.
