We are looking for a full time, enthusiastic and motivated dispatcher with great communication skills and attention to detail to join our team to ensure timely dispatch and delivery of customer shipments.
Responsibilities
- Scheduling and dispatching drivers
- Data entry into dispatching software
- Responding to customer emails
- Handle customer queries, customer requests
- Send customised quotations for new jobs
- Record and maintain files and records of each job performed
- Oversee all communication with the drivers on the road
- Demonstrate high standards of performance, including teamwork, communications and compassion
- Dispatch drivers, provide correct paperwork, BOL’S and plan daily routes
- Ensuring that truck drivers comply with transportation regulations and laws
- Tracking drivers logs such as dispatched orders and arrival times and POD times
- Monitoring truck repairs an ensuring their regular maintenance
- Recording customer complaints and make action plan to fix it
- Creating dispatch documents along with generating invoices and freight bills
- Being in touch with the customers about delivery details such as pick up and delivery times

FDL core operations support and cater on demand pick up and delivery services for all local machine shops, high tech companies, R&D industries, IT and Computing businesses, Hospitals and oil refineries that need urgent and expedite delivery solutions which are both time critical and of high importance. FDL headquarters and warehouse is located in the heart of Bay Area and easily accessible to and from all three major Airports SFO, SJC and OAK. Our warehouse cater for interstate cross docking needs of our clients for short term storage from few hours to few days. Our aim is to provide our customers everything we have in house at affordable and timely manner and always looking to meet customer demands for future needs. Our aim is to provide best solutions and good communication at each step of the process with personalized support for each client. With the expansion into the warehouse operations we are in need of some great people to run our warehouse business for our prestigious clients.
